The stages of teething in infants

Teething
The appearance of these symptoms varies from one child to another. The teeth may appear in some people without any signs or symptoms, but some symptoms may be due to the entry of viruses, microbes and germs into the child’s body as a result of the child trying to rub his gums with anything he finds in front of him.
Beginning of teething
Teething stages
- From five months to seven months old: The lower front teeth (incisors) appear first in the child's mouth.
- From six months to eight months: The upper front teeth (incisors) appear.
- From the ninth to the eleventh month: The upper lateral incisors (each side of the upper front teeth) appear.
- From the tenth to the twelfth month: the lower lateral incisors appear (each side of the lower front teeth).
- From the twelfth month to the sixteenth month: molars (posterior teeth) appear.
- From sixteenth to twentieth: Fangs appear toward the back of the mouth.
- From the twentieth month to the thirtieth month: the second molars appear.
Tips to ease the teething period
- Patience; the parents must have the nerves, deal with this stage wisely, and stay away from nervousness and boredom, because the behaviors that appear on the child are involuntary, so the suffering of the child must be alleviated by being immersed in love, affection and kindness.
- Continue to breastfeed because she feels comfortable with the baby.
- Giving the child the bites allocated to the children after cooling them in the refrigerator, as it reduces the severity of the pain, as it sings the child from trying to put dangerous and polluted things in his mouth.
- Gently massage the baby's gums with teething gel or a little bit of olive oil.
- Giving the child a little paracetamol that relieves pain and helps the child sleep.
- Monitor the child well, and see a doctor if the fever, diarrhea persists for 24 hours, or any strange symptoms appear on the child.
